Moorish Marvel

The 18th-century building was completely renovated recently and designed by Miguel Cancio Martins who wanted to see a relaxation of the physical barriers between the city and the hotel.

The Location

The hotel's distinctive blue facade is typical in Lisbon, which has held onto the many Moorish influences of its past. The pretty tiles that are so linked with Lisbon have been painstakingly restored both inside and out.
